I live outside Winston-Salem, NC, with my husband David and dog Cookie, but dream of someday living at the beach. I keep busy as owner of a Kilwins franchise, writing, running, painting, and adoring my young grandchildren. I love ocean waves, fine dining as well as cooking a gourmet meal, wine, reading, travel, and dark chocolate. My three children, Glenn, Marie and Jessie, have always been my joy and passion. Writing poetry satisfies a deep need and is cathartic for me. I am a member of the NC Haiku Society, have published a book of poems “Hunting for Shark’s Teeth”, and have been widely represented in various poetry publications.
